Must give credit where credit is due- thanks Katie for inspiring this post today, because I had nothing.
Reading: Effortless, but I should be reading our B.F.B.C. book- oops.
Watching: NBC Nightly News, but I can't wait to start my reality shows. Anyone watching Breaking Amish?! I have skipped out on the last two episodes. I recorded them, but in no rush to watch it. Honestly they get on my nerves- bad. I heard it's all fake. Not that any of the shows I watch are real- this one just feels more fake. I just have trouble pressing delete.
Thinking About: How hungry I am. I am so close to getting to my lowest in 20 months, but man alive it is work. I still have a loooonnnnggggg way to go, but it feels good to hit small milestones. I'm hungry though. Did I mention I was hungry?!
Loving: My eyebrows- for real. On a fluke went to a new esthetician last month and she changed my eyebrows. I have a shape now! I went back on Monday and I am in love.
Looking Forward to: Thursday night Halloween festivities with O&G. I think I might be more excited than they are. I love the holidays and I love soaking up every minute of it with them.
Wondering: If those ovulation kits really work. I tried the "happy face one" my OB recommended, but this whole having to use it only if it has been 4 hours since my last pee is proving to be hard. I am drinking 100oz+ of water a day and even in the middle of the night pee plagues me. Do they really work? Man I hope/pray/wish so.
Cooking/Baking: Anything that I am not tempted to eat. Sad, but true. I just had 2 days of eating what I want, so the first week back after so much yummy goodness always proves to be hard {for me}. I for real gave my family sloppy joes for dinner last night. I used to think that was cooking, but now that I have been cooking tons more I am embarrassed to admit that I served some joes. Oh well- I knew I wouldn't be tempted to eat them and it worked.
Disliking: How my beloved Dropbox doesn't seem to be syncing my phone to my computer- boo!
Making me happy: Thinking of O&G all warm and cozy in their beds. Nothing makes me happier than nights where we have time for baths and {most of} a movie. They are so soft and so clean and easily impressed with any movie they haven't watched before. Last night it was The Nightmare Before Christmas- good times.
What is currently happening with all of you?!
Happy Hump Day!
Love the thought of movie nights with my girl in the future! And I need to go get someone to do my eyebrows because I think I need a shape!
ReplyDeleteAww I loved that book. It was EXCELLENT.
ReplyDeleteI can't even remember the last time I had my eyebrows done. :(
ReplyDeleteI love bath nights. My daughter is especially scrumptious those nights. ;) Although, I pretty much cuddle her and kiss her and hug her up every chance I get. LOL.
xo
I haven't read the B.F.B.C. book for October either. I tried but I had a really hard time getting into it so I stopped. I'm a quiter.. I've come to terms with it ;-)
ReplyDeleteThe OCTOBER book was/is horrible I could not finish it :)
ReplyDeleteLove your post!!
The smiley face worked for us... just sayin ;-) And I just used first morning pee, worked fine!
ReplyDeleteHaha I will totally cook things for my family that I'm not tempted to eat, too! Like corn dogs (which, strangely, were a huge craving when I was pregnant).
ReplyDeleteAnd way to go with the weight loss! Being hungry sucks, though. Sometimes I eat celery when I'm starving, because apparently you burn more calories eating them than they have in them? Who knows, honestly.
thanks for the credit lady! :) loved your post.
ReplyDeleteI am using the smiley face one too....I certainly hope it works. I never considered that it wouldn't. How blindly stupid of me! I just take it in the morning...so far, no baby :-(
ReplyDeleteI started watching Breaking Amish, but haven't watched this week's episode. They kind of lost me when the one kid wanted to proposed to the girl he's known for 4 episodes?!? It's one of those shows I like to watch when nothing else is on. :)
ReplyDeleteOK so I am guilty of watching Breaking Amish. And next week's episode has me counting down the days until Sunday.
ReplyDeleteGood for you with the weight loss. It's hard. I love food but have some lbs to shed...just getting back in the groove with working out and my fitness pal. It helps!
And please....you have to share your new esthetician! I haven't had a mani/pedi or a good wax since I moved to Ohio!
I love bath/movie nights too!!
ReplyDeleteMy friends OB told her to stop using the Ovulation kits :) she was preggers the next month after TTC for almost 1year...I know it's not the norm, but I thought it was a cute story :)
I used the happy face ovulation kits for what it's worth. But I do have to tell you that I tested twice a day (rec. from another fried TTC and what her dr told her). I also have heard that just testing in the afternoon (about 2:00) can work but then again, you can't pee for four hours earlier!!!! I hate that part.
ReplyDeleteSo for what it's worth...that's that.
You are in my prayers!
